Στο πλαίσιο της υφιστάμενης Συμφωνίας Επιστημονικής Συνεργασίας με το The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) της Κίνας, παρέχεται η δυνατότητα σπουδών κατά το εαρινό εξάμηνο του ακαδημαϊκού έτους 2024-2025 (από Ιανουάριο έως Μάϊο 2025), ενός/μίας προπτυχιακού/ής φοιτητή/τριας του ΑΠΘ στο εν λόγω πανεπιστήμιο.
Όποιος/όποια επιλεγεί θα έχει απαλλαγή διδάκτρων αλλά θα καλύψει εξ ιδίων τα οδοιπορικά του/της έξοδα, το κόστος διαμονής, διατροφής, ιατροφαρμακευτικής ασφάλισης, λοιπών δαπανών και έκδοσης visa. Τα εκτιμώμενα έξοδα αναγράφονται στο συνημμένο έγγραφο “Factsheet”. Πληροφορίες για τα μαθήματα και άλλες πληροφορίες μπορούν οι φοιτητές να βρουν στο σύνδεσμο https://www.eduhk.hk/gao/articles/63.
Οι υποψήφιοι θα πρέπει να συμπληρώσουν την αίτηση έως τη Δευτέρα 23 Σεπτεμβρίου 2024 και ώρα: 12:00 μ.μ ενώ συνιστάται μέχρι το τέλος Σεπτεμβρίου να διαθέτουν διαβατήριο σε ισχύ, διότι ότι θα τους ζητηθεί κατά τη διαδικασία της αίτησης στο ξένο πανεπιστήμιο, η οποία έχει καταληκτική ημερομηνία 6 Οκτωβρίου 2024.
Ο/Η υποψήφιος/α φοιτητής/τρια πρέπει να έχει ολοκληρώσει κατ’ ελάχιστον το τέταρτο (4ο) εξάμηνο σπουδών του (δύο πλήρη έτη σπουδών). Ο συνολικός χρόνος σπουδών των υποψηφίων δεν μπορεί να υπερβαίνει τα δύο έτη από τον ενδεδειγμένο χρόνο σπουδών (ν+2).
Απαραίτητη, επίσης, είναι η πολύ καλή γνώση της αγγλικής γλώσσας, ενώ η γνώση της κινεζικής θα συνεκτιμηθεί.
Στη συνέχεια η Επιτροπή Διεθνών Σχέσεων θα προβεί στην επιλογή του επικρατέστερου φοιτητή/τριας και θα προωθήσει την αίτησή του/της στο EdUHK της Κίνας.

Nomination
To nominate your students, please complete the Nomination Form attached and return it via email at inbound@eduhk.hk by 29 September 2024. Please encrypt the file with a password and send us the password through a different means (e.g. google drive, one drive, or a different email account) in order to protect data privacy.
Academic Requirements
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale OR equivalent. First-year students are normally NOT eligible.
English Proficiency
For non-native English-speaking applicants, they are required to provide ONE of the following documents for certifying English Proficiency:

Application
Once we receive the nominations, we will import the student data to our application platform named GEMS. Nominated students will receive a system email and they can then start the online application. They can also view the latest course list from GEMS.
Applicants are REQUIRED to complete the application online form and upload the following documents ON OR BEFORE 6 October 2024.

Visa Application
Applicants shall download the application form from the Hong Kong Immigration Department, the form must be completed and signed properly. Students may refer to the sample.
Applicants are required to submit the ORIGINAL visa application with photocopies of all necessary supporting documents to the Global Affairs Office (GAO) by courier ON OR BEFORE 6 October 2024.
