Στο πλαίσιο της Συμφωνίας Επιστημονικής Συνεργασίας του Α.Π.Θ.  με το Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), της Κίνας, προσφέρονται δύο (2) υποτροφίες σε άριστους προπτυχιακούς ή μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές  του Α.Π.Θ. για παρακολούθηση Θερινού Σχολείου στο εν λόγω Πανεπιστήμιο, στο διάστημα από 8 έως 26 Ιουλίου 2019 (3 εβδομάδες).
Σας προωθούμε παρακάτω την ηλεκτρονική αλληλογραφία και επισυνάπτεται σχετικό πληροφοριακό υλικό και το έντυπο της αίτησης.
Η υποτροφία καλύπτει: το κόστος συμμετοχής στο Θερινό Σχολείο, την διδακτική ύλη, εκπαιδευτικές επισκέψεις και εκδρομές τα Σαββατοκύριακα.
Οι επιλεγέντες θα πρέπει να καλύψουν εξ ιδίων το κόστος:

α) διαμονής (στον ξενώνα του Πανεπιστημίου, σε μονόκλινα δωμάτια με μπάνιο: ~400 €)

β) οδοιπορικών εξόδων, και

γ) διατροφής (~ 2 €/γεύμα)

 Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι φοιτητές παρακαλούνται να συμπληρώσουν την επισυναπτόμενη αίτηση και να την καταθέσουν μαζί με  τα δικαιολογητικά που αναφέρονται εντός αυτής έως την Τρίτη 5 Μαρτίου, 2019 στις 12:00 το μεσημέρι στο Τμήμα Διεθνών Σχέσεων (γρφ. 10, ισόγειο Κτιρίου Διοικήσεως).
Σε περίπτωση περισσοτέρων υποψηφιοτήτων, η Επιτροπή Διεθνών Σχέσεων θα προβεί στην επιλογή των 2 πλέον αρίστων και θα αποστείλει κατόπιν τις αιτήσεις τους στο Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), αρμοδίως, το οποίο και θα προβεί στην τελική επιλογή.

Greetings from Shanghai International Studies University!
Through this email we would like to inform you about our Chinese Culture Summer School starting from July 8th to July 26th, 2019. We welcome your students joining our Chinese Culture Summer School to explore Chinese culture with us. Our Summer School would provide 16 well-knit lectures (all in English), as well as Basic Chinese Courses. For the detailed information, you could find the attached guide for your reference. Overseas students and SISU students shall work together on the program toward a better understanding of China, especially Chinese culture and how it relates to the world. 
As an important partner of Shanghai International Studies University, we would like to offer 2 quota places for your students without paying tuition fee. However, if there are more students interested in our program, the quota places could be further negotiated. 
Attached please find the application form and guide for our summer program. We would highly appreciate if you could kindly send me back the attached Nominees sheet before March 15, 2019, so that we would know whose application to expect by email (chinesecultureses@163.com) prior to March 20, 2019. Invitation letter will be directly mail to your distinguished university for security’s sake. Could you please kindly inform us of the post address for receiving invitation letter?
In addition to the culture program, your students are also welcome to pay and join the language program offered by the School of Chinese Studies and Exchange, as indicated in the application form.

Thank you so much for your kind email and continuous support.

I am sorry that the living cost for 2019 summer program hasn't come out yet.  However, I could provide the price in the last years just for your reference, but the price for 2019 is subjuect to change.
Housing in the past years: Double room: about 90 RMB/person/day.
                                           Single room: about 140RMB/day.
Also, students will receive their campus card on the registration day. Our campus card can be used in the two-story cafeteria and two cafes on campus. Chinese food of three dishes costs about 15 RMB, while a pizza or pasta is about 30 RMB. In addition, Restaurants offering varied cuisines at varied price levels can be found nearby and many students would like to eat off campus.
Regarding to your second question, yes, if students want to join language program, they have to pay tuition fee to School of Chinese Studies & Exchange. However, this year, our chinese culture program will provide some basic Chinese courses for our international student, therefore, if your students don't have strong desire to learn Chinese, they could join us to explore chinese culture. We are looking forward to meeting our students in the near future.

Thank you for your e-mail of January 8th, 2019, regarding the information about the Chinese Culture Summer School (8-26.7.2019) and the offered 2 quota places to our students without paying tuition fees, in the frame of our Agreement of Scientific Collaboration.
In order to spread the relevant announcement to our students please give us more details about the following issues:

1.      How much will be the cost for the accommodation of our students at the SISU Guest House and approximately the cost of meals daily?

2.      Do our students have to pay an extra fee in order to join also the language program by the School of Chinese Studies & Exchange?
