June 12, 2013. Agreement of Scientific Cooperation  has been signed between Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Shangai International Studies University – China under the terms of which both Universities will develop and promote each others's educational, academic and and research activities. Among those activities the exchange of faculty members, undergraduate and postgradute students is foreseen, as well as to work towards the approval of HANBAN (Confucius Institute Headquarters) of establishing a Confucius Institute at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The Rector of Shanghai International Studies University Prof. Cao Deming, was accompanied by Prof. Zhang HONGLING, Director of International Relations Office, Prof. Zhu SHENGPENG, School of Neohellenic Studies, Prof. Wang Xiaoying, School of Neohellenic Studies, Assist. Prof. Wang YAN, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of European Languages.
