High-Level participation at EMUNI Round Table »The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: Beyond Politics«
1 Dec 2014, Portorož, Slovenia. Along the EMUNI Round Table series, a round table discussion took place at the Euro-Mediterranean Univeristy (EMUNI). Two eminent guest speakers participated in the panel with a number of distinguished guests. Both speakers made an intervention presenting their views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, followed by a productive debate and discussion among the participants. Several interventions commended the role of EMUNI as a platform for science diplomacy in the Middle East and supported the idea of holding another event under the same topic with the participation of the civil societies from Israel and Palestine.[More]

Inauguration of the Centre for Euro-Mediterranean Lifelong Learning

Prof. Dr. Abdelhamid El-Zoheiry, President of EMUNI, attended the inauguration of the Centre for Euro-Mediterranean Lifelong Learning (CELL) at Pegaso University in Naples (Italy). In his speech, Prof. Zoheiry underlined the importance of lifelong learning for universities of the 21st century and expressed EMUNI's commitment to support the CELL initiative at a regional level. The Centre for Euro-Mediterranean Lifelong Learning brings together Italian and foreign universities, local and national bodies, the business community and educational institutes for projects aiming to foster the professional and social development of citizens within a global context, helping them to get into and stay on the labour market.
