The International Relations Department of AUTh would like to inform you about the 49th International Summer Seminar in Bulgarian Language and Culture, organized by the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.
The program is designed for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and researchers interested in deepening their knowledge of the Bulgarian language, history, and culture. It combines intensive language instruction with a rich cultural experience in one of Bulgaria’s most historic and picturesque cities.
The seminar will take place from July 13 to August 2, 2026, in Veliko Tarnovo.
Participants can choose between two program durations:
- 3-Week Program (July 13 – August 2, 2026): Fee EUR 1150
- 2-Week Program (July 13 – July 26, 2026): Fee EUR 850
The fee covers:
- Tuition
- Cultural Program
- Housing (on-campus, same-gender double room with private bathroom facilities)
- Meals (self-service in the on-campus dining facility; breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
- Two (2) scheduled trips
The fee does NOT cover:
- Transportation to and from Veliko Tarnovo, or any other travel expenditures within the country and the town during the seminar
- Medical insurance
- Any additional trips, activities, and services
