On April 26, 2024, a joint visit was made to the Grammatikaki Wind Park by students from the Schools of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering of AUTh and from Beijing Foreign Studies University, with which AUTh has signed a Scientific Cooperation Agreement.
The visit was organized by the Institute of International Communication of Chinese Culture together with the Academy of Modern China and Global Studies, in collaboration with the Department of International Relations of AUTh, within the framework of the program entitled: “Dialogue of International Youth Leaders”.
The Chinese side undertook the transportation of the participants, their accommodation in Alexandroupolis for one night and all the details of the organization of the visit.
The visit was a valuable opportunity for the exchange of views and experiences of the students of AUTh and the students of Beijing Foreign Studies University, as well as an opportunity to study the operation of a wind farm up close.
This meeting highlights the importance of international cooperation in the field of education and research and opens new horizons for future cooperation between the two universities.
