Σας διαβιβάζουμε την παρακάτω ηλεκτρονική αλληλογραφία εκ μέρους του Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) με τα συνημμένα της, που αφορά πρόσκληση σε φοιτήτριες/φοιτητές (προπτυχιακές/κούς ή μεταπτυχιακές/κούς) προκειμένου να συμμετέχουν στο 21^st ASEF Summer University (ASEFSU21) με θέμα “Youth with Disabilities: Shaping inclusive ASEM Societies”.

Θα διεξαχθεί στην Μελβούρνη της Αυστραλίας και στην συνέχεια στο Christchurch της Νέας Ζηλανδίας στο χρονικό διάστημα 27 Ιανουαρίου – 10 Φεβρουαρίου 2018.

Από το ASEF, προβλέπεται κάλυψη των εξόδων συμμετοχής, διαμονής, διατροφής και επιχορήγηση οδοιπορικών εξόδων, για όσους επιλεγούν.

Καταληκτική ημερομηνία υποβολής αίτησης συμμετοχής είναι η 10 Δεκεμβρίου 2017.

Dear ASEF Friends and Colleagues from the Higher Education Sector,

 

The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) is an intergovernmental organisation based in Singapore which promotes understanding and cooperation between the people and institutions of both continents. In the field of education, we focus on higher education collaboration, LLL and youth leadership. One of our flagship projects is the ASEF Summer University (ASEFSU), a 2-week experiential learning journey and “Interdisciplinary Innovathon” to foster cross-cultural exchanges and networks among the ASEM youth. ASEFSU takes place annually, each year tackling a different theme of socio-political concern within Asia and Europe. The project offers students and young professionals the unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge on contemporary issues and propose concrete solutions to societal challenges.

 

The 21^st ASEF Summer University (ASEFSU21) will focus on the topic “Youth with Disabilities: Shaping inclusive ASEM Societies”.  ASEF will organise ASEFSU21 in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia) and the University of Canterbury (Christchurch, New Zealand) from 27 January – 10 February 2018.

 

We have just launched the Open Call for Application and would highly appreciate your kind support in circulating it among your relevant university/student networks. We welcome students of all academic disciplines and mixed abilities. In line with our mission to provide equal education opportunities for young people, participation in the ASEFSU is funded by ASEF and its project partners. Please find enclosed the Open Call materials (pdf and word file formats for better accessibility) and below the email announcement for easy distribution. The deadline for applications is on Sunday, 10 December 2017.
