Warmest greetings from the Global Affairs Office (GAO) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK)!

We are pleased to inform you that our International Teacher Training Programme (ITTP) for Fall semester (September to December 2019) is now open for application!

Since 2013, on top of our signature Student Exchange Programmes, we have also created an exclusive opportunity for student-teachers within our global network, to gain insights on education in a different cultural setting, along with first-hand teaching and learning classroom experience. Initiated and coordinated by EdUHK GAO, together with two affiliated schools (The EdUHK Jockey Club Primary School and The EdUHK Early Childhood Learning Centre) located on campus. Students enrolled in the ITTP will be covered under the prevailing Student Exchange Agreement with EdUHK.

You may find the features of the ITTP listed as below:

Any students of our Student Exchange partner overseas
who are in the education-related discipline with good academic performance

Duration
4 weeks to 1 full academic year
Host school
The EdUHK Jockey Club Primary School (JCPS)
The EdUHK Early Childhood Learning Centre (ECLC)

Exchange number
1 student-teacher participating this programme would be equivalent to 1 exchange student coming to EdUHK for studies for a regular semester exchange unless prior mutual agreement between EdUHK and partner institutions has been reached

The Nomination & Recommendation Form for our International Teacher Training Programme in 2019/20 is attached in this email for your kind reference.
Interested students are REQUIRED to submit their applications at https://anonmachg2.eduhk.hk/machform/view.php?id=29646720 from 1 February 2019 (Friday) to 31 March 2019 (Sunday). As part of their submission, applicants will be required to upload the Nomination & Recommendation Form completed by the International Office/ Study Abroad Office of their home institution. Thus, we would be very grateful if you could fill out pg. 1 of the attached form and pass it to your nominated students for submission to EdUHK.
