Today, approximately 100 undergraduate and postgraduate students from Ukraine are enrolled at AUTH.

Papaioannou, referred to the continuous help and support offered by Aristotle University with the immediate payment of a one-time emergency grant and free full meals for all affected students and the facilitation of housing for those students face a related problem.

In addition, the Rector  stated “AUTH consistently and with absolute transparency continues to collect money from donations from external organizations and individuals, as well as from the members of the university community and to implement support actions for its Ukrainian students. It is with great pleasure that I announce to you today that Excellence scholarships will be awarded to our Ukrainian students utilizing donations of money made by extra-university bodies. Also, money collected from AUTH members’ contributions continues to cover expenses for urgent living needs of our Ukrainian students, such as paying rent, gas bill, etc. At the same time, AUTH continues to coordinate the process of finding employment with external organizations and individuals, for Ukrainian students who have expressed a relevant interest. Finally, I am happy to inform you that we secured free accommodation and meals for our Ukrainian students at the AUTH camps, in Kalandra, Chalkidiki, for July”.
