The Greek Diaspora Fellowship Program (GDFP) is pleased to announce the selected Greek universities and fellows for Cycle 3. To view the successful projects, please find a list of Selected Projects for Cycle 3. You can also view the selected projects from Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 as well.
We are also pleased to announce that we have extended the Cycle 4 deadline to January 30, 2020.
As a reminder, any degree-conferring higher education institution in Greece can submit a project request to host a scholar born in (or citizens of) Greece or Cyprus who is now living and working at a university in the United States, Canada, Australia, South Africa or New Zealand. Scholars must hold a terminal degree in their field and may hold any academic rank. The GDFP is open to all academic disciplines.
Greek host institutions can request that the scholar participate in projects in curriculum co-development, collaborative research and/or graduate or undergraduate student research mentoring and teaching, for a period between 14 and 90 days.
The deadline to receive both scholar applications and host institution project requests is 30 January 2020 at 11:59 PM Eastern US time (31 January 2020 6:59 AM Greece time.) Selection decisions for Cycle 4 will be made in May 2020; project visits can begin in June 2020.
For more information on the fellowship program and application process, as well as the projects of current fellows, please visit our website and our communities on Facebook and Twitter. Please also join the free webinar on 4 December at 11 AM.
We look forward to hearing from any interested potential hosts at greekdiaspora@iie.org.
