Partners' Obligations:
Memorandum of Understanding. It concerns the development of scientific cooperation and research mainly between the Faculty of Engineering of AUTh and the University of Kentucky with the aim of submitting joint research programs for EU funding or international organizations. Exchanges of faculty members and students are foreseen, depending on the available financial resources of the two Institutions, until Specific Cooperation Agreements are formulated and agreed in the future, provided they are in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law.
November 2023 signature of Addendum: Development of specialized scientific collaboration of the Laboratory of Soil Mechanics of Foundations & Geotechnical Seismic Engineering of the Dept. Politics of Engineering of AUTH with the corresponding School of the University in question. It will concern the organization of online lectures, short exchanges postgraduate students for research (at least one student per academic year) and faculty members (also at least one faculty member per academic year).
Students will cover the costs of travel, accommodation and living in general, by themselves. Faculty members will have their travel expenses covered by the Their sending university and the host institution may arrange for their accommodation after consultation, depending on financial resources.
The validity of the Addendum will be parallel to the one already signed Memorandum of Cooperation, while they will be renewed at the same time.
