The International Relations Department aims tο enhance, organize and maintain good relations between the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the international academic community, as well as for promoting the university abroad, with the aim to reinforce cooperation and communication in the field of teaching and research.
Σύμφωνα με το περιεχόμενο αρκετών Συμφωνιών δίνεται η δυνατότητα σε μέλη Δ.Ε.Π. του Α.Π.Θ. να έρθουν σε επαφή με μέλη Δ.Ε.Π. άλλων Πανεπιστημίων με σκοπό την ανάπτυξη ερευνητικών συνεργασιών και προγραμμάτων προς όφελος της ακαδημαϊκής κοινότητας, αλλά και την πραγματοποίηση διδακτικών δραστηριοτήτων και διαλέξεων που συμβάλλουν στη μετάδοση της επιστημονικής γνώσης.
Το Τμήμα Διεθνών Σχέσεων προκηρύσσει κάθε χρόνο τις θέσεις στο πλαίσιο αυτών των Συμφωνιών.
